Adjacent to Watford central library and close to Watford Colosseum and West Herts College, a new bespoke home for Watford Museum would place it at the centre of a new cultural and educational hub for the town. Along with better display space for artefacts, the new building would also house a gallery for national exhibitions, a community space and a café. Its relocation and improved visibility to residents and visitors would ensure better footfall and engagement with Watford past and present.

The Museum’s current home – a Grade II listed Georgian building - would be returned to its original residential use and its heritage aspects protected for future generations.
